Description 080413-N-1635S-004 PACIFIC OCEAN The guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101) and the guided-missile frigate USS Thach (FFG 43) follow behind the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during a simulated straits transit. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is conducting Joint Task Force Exercise (JTFEX) preparing for a deployment.
