Summary

Description A Soviet Tupolev Tu-95 (NATO reporting code "Bear") flying over the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11). Intrepid, with assigned Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 56 (CVSG-56), was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea from 16 April to 15 October 1971.
