English: Trent & Mersey Canal - Bridge 94. The statue on the opposite bank beside Workhouse Bridge is of Mrs Christina Collins who was raped and murdered on the canal in June 1839 1539944.
The bridge provided access to the workhouse which was later the Trent Hospital and has more recently been converted into apartments.
