Summary
DescriptionToronto Arcade.jpg |
English: Toronto's Yonge Street Arcade was located just a few blocks south of Queen Street on Yonge street, and was not only Toronto's first indoor shopping centre, but all of Canada.
Since 1884, this predecessor to its now world famous "Eaton Centre" was a major focal point for shoppers who, just like today's shopper's, enjoyed the ability to continue shopping regardless of weather conditions, until it was demolished around 1954. |
