DescriptionThe rood screen at Partrishow-Patricio - geograph.org.uk - 1212550.jpg
English: The rood screen at Partrishow/Patricio The tiny church has many highly unusual features and this C16 screen in front of the rood loft is perhaps the most impressive. It is carved from Irish oak, and depicts two dragons among the leaves, fruit and flowers that are carved with lace-like intricacy. The remoteness of the church protected it from destruction by Reformation zealots.
The entrance to the stone steps leading to the gallery are on the left, partly visible here.
