Description	This is the crest of Sigma Delta Chi, a professional fraternity in journalism formed in 1909 at DePauw University. It was the precursor to the Society of Professional Journalists, the name it adopted in 1973, finally dropping the Greek Letter name in 1988.

Use in article (WP:NFCC#7)	Society of Professional Journalists
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	to serve as the primary means of visual identification at the top of the article dedicated to the entity in question.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	Any derivative work based upon the logo would be a copyright violation, so creation of a free image is not possible.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	I color corrected the original scan, which had numerous artifacts. I then reduced it substantially from the original, cropped it to remove the commercial messaging (fully aware that the metadata would have the original source). The resulting image is perhaps only 5% of its original size.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The use of a low resolution image of an organization's logo in the article about that organization will not impact the commercial viability of the logo.
Other information	This replaces JPGs that I had uploaded, but now am replacing with a PNG file.
