Summary

Description
English: The Godwin tombs, St Pancras Old Church. Mary Wollstonecraft( 1759 - 1797)and her husband William Godwin are buried in these box tombs. Her grave was a trysting place for her daughter, also Mary, and her future husband, Percy Bysshe Shelley, when this was a rural churchyard beside the River Fleet.
