Summary

Description
English: This chart shows the location of the Carina Nebula within the constellation of Carina (The Keel). This map shows most of the stars visible to the unaided eye under good conditions and the nebula itself is marked as a green square in a red circle at the left (labelled 3372 for NGC 3372). This nebula is very bright and can be seen well in small telescopes, and faintly without a telescope at all.
Deutsch: Diese Aufsuchkarte zeigt die Position des Carinanebels im Sternbild Carina (der Schiffskiel). Eingezeichnet sind die meisten der unter guten Bedingungen mit bloßem Auge sichtbaren Sterne. Der Nebel selbst ist mit einem grünen Quadrat in einem roten Kreis links im Bild markiert (bezeichnet mit der Nummer 3372 für NGC 3372). Der Nebel ist außerordentlich hell und kann bereits mit kleinen Teleskopen gut beobachtet werden. Sogar für das bloße Auge ist er schwach erkennbar.
