| Description |
English: Picture of a vibrant looking ship on the water. The Acquitania was 4 months old when she was requisitioned in August 1914. She was deployed initially as an armed merchant cruiser, and subsequently as a troopship and hospital ship.
The dazzle paint was to confuse, not blend, making accurate aiming by submarines difficult. |
