DescriptionSummerfield Park - former police station.jpg
English: In Summerfield Park.
The park was opened in July 1876, eight weeks after the opening of Highgate Park, by the then mayor Joseph Chamberlain (in his last year in office before becoming an MP).
The park was formerly part of the grounds of Summerfield House, from the late estate of Mr Lucas Chance.
The building behind the fence was formerly Summerfield Police Station, before they moved from Dudley Road to their current location on Icknield Port Road.
