Description
English: (A) The structure of Vps26B (Red to gold). The ‘polar core’ of Vps26B has a different side chain composition from arrestins (Grey shaded region). (B) The structure of arrestin-2 (Green to gold). The C-terminal tail of arrestins contains clathrin- and AP2-binding sequences (Purple). The arrestin side chains for GPCR binding and basic side chains involved in binding to phosphatidylinositol phospholipids are shown here, which are not present in Vps26B.
