Summary

Description
English: Dd 608 departs Northcote on an up Whittlesea mixed, more than likely taken on the same day, Nov. 30 1912, as the previous photo. Dd 608 lasted until 1929. The photo below is a closeup of the station area. Upon looking up the Weekly Notice extracts I found that the starting signal on post 2 (signal seen at proceed) was moved to the left side of the line in 1922, probably due to electrification as now the signals had to be able to be viewed by the one man operated sparks.
