Description
English: Portrait of Doctor William Nathaniel Robertson, 1866-1938 Portrait of Doctor William Nathaniel Robertson who was born in Edinburgh in 1866. He moved to Ipswich, Queensland, where he was engaged in general medical practice, and then to Brisbane where he was an ear, nose and throat specialist. Doctor W. N. Robertson was vice-chancellor of the University of Queensland. A prize known as the 'Dr.William Nathaniel Robertson Medal' has been awarded by the University of Queensland since 1940 to the the most successful candidate in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Doctor Robertson died in Brisbane on the 12 June, 1938.
