English: Standing Stones of Yoxie, Whalsay, Shetland. On the east side of Whalsay, between Isbister and Skaw are the Standing Stones of Yoxie. Excavated in 1954-5 they are now thought to me similar in layout to sites in Malta and Gozo. |
