The new game, Spelunker Black, is a re-release with new additional features. It is included as part of the Spelunker HD article, but it needs to be distinguished from the original game as well - due to it having changed features. |

The game is loss, and would probably take a decade before anyone would have paid attention to it. The source of this logo comes from a trailer, and I had to personally cut it out with photo editing software. If and when the trailer is deleted, there would be no means of identifying its logo until the original game data is found. I believe it is important to at least preserve the logo and provide assurance that the game did exist at a time. |

The game has been removed from the PSN ever since Tozai Games took over the Spelunker franchise from Irem Corporation. As of now, Tozai have no intention re-releasing the Black version of the game. It cannot harm the commercial opportunities of its owner when the game itself is off the market. |
