Summary
[edit]Description |
Image of the remains of Coach G of the HST involved in the Southall rail crash. The train collided with a freight train entering Southall goods yard after failing to stop at a red signal. 7 people were killed and 139 injured. The impact with the freight train severed this coach's body from its frames, causing serious internal damage, and a lot of the windows broke. In many carriages, such as this one, lighting was lost. |
