Summary

Description
English: The Jewish Community Council, or Judenrat, in the Sosnowiec Ghetto during the Nazi German occupation of Poland in World War II. Moshe Merin (also Moniek Merin and Moszek Israel Merin) (1905-1943), head of Judenrat, pictured sitting in the centre, fifth from the right, middle row.
