English: This is a game of Snatch in progress. Snatch is a commercial version of the Scrabble variant "Anagrams." In this photo, taken near the start of a game, two players have gathered, built, or stolen several words apiece. The letter G has just been turned up from the communal pool, and as soon as a player finds a way to make a new word using G and one of their existing words, she can take the G. In this case, SATE could absorb the G and become GATES. Similarly, either player could combine PUP and SATE to steal PUPATES, or FEW, SATE and the G to steal WEFTAGES.
