Summary

Description
English: The Sibley School of Mechanical Engineering, now Sibley Hall, was built in three phases.

The first building, built in 1870, was the western part (left side); was centered on the northern part of the Arts Quad. An identical second building was built a short distance east of it in 1894 (right side). Then in 1902 the center part (which includes the dome) was built, connecting them. (Also note the first building had the brick tower either behind it, or attached to it).

This looks to be the first building, built 1870. Behind it and to the right is the Foundry, built 1883. So that would date this photo as between 1883 and 1894.
