English: This photograph was taken by me on the Hemakuta hill temple complex at Hampi, a UNESCO world heritage site in the Bellary district of Karnataka state, India. The temple dates to the early 14th century rule of Kampili Raya (1326 AD), ruler of the tiny kingdom of Kampili (modern Bellary district) with his capital at Kummatadurga. The temple incorporates the Kadamba sikhara style of tower over shrine
