This house was built in 1830 and had changes done in 1850 that made it into a "dog trot' form. The homeowners were Judge Shelton and his wife who used the residence as a local school. This house is a one story, eight bay wide, sheathed in clapboard, but flushboard covers the exterior wall located in the gallery area.
