Summary
[edit]Description | This is a picture of the final blocking of the Breakwater performed by Hyundai Construction in the coast of Seosan City, South Korea. Having a few hundreds of meters to finish, the current between the gap was too fast and all the rocks and earth swept away with the current as the dump trucks pour them into the water. Former president of Hyundai Construction, Chung Ju-Yung, decided to block the gap with a tanker approximately 300 meters long, slowering the tide. Chung was the first to demonstrate this kind of construction technique which is happened to be called "The Chung Ju-Yung method" later on. |
