Description
English: The U.S. Senate met and engaged in legislation of amending existing legislation and passing additional legislation. The business of the day included declaring December 13, 1993 National Firefighter Day, passing appropriations for the U.S. Coast Guard, and continuation of a federal bone marrow donor program among others. The Senate also acted to place on indefinite hold consideration of the North American Free Trade Act. Following the completion of the day’s business the Senate stood adjourned until 10:30am the following day.
