Description
Deutsch: Das Attentat auf den Erzherzog-Thronfolger Franz Ferdinand von Österreich und seine Gemahlin in Sarajewo am 28. Juni 1914. Im Wagen auf dem Klappsitz de:Oskar Potiorek, rechts davon auf dem Trittbrett stehend de:Franz von Harrach, der Chauffeur ist de:Leopold Lojka. Zeitungsholzstich von Felix Schwormstädt für die de:Leipziger Illustrierte Zeitung.
Die Zeichnung ist frei erfunden: Das Geschehen wird vom Zeichner dramatisiert. Laut Illustrierte Zeitung sei das Bild nach der Skizze eines Augenzeugen gefertigt. Schwormstädt selber war nicht in Sarajewo (Lars U. Scholl: Felix Schwormstädt 1870-1938. Maler-Pressezeichner-Illustrator. Herford 1990, S. 32).
