English: Prometheus creates Man; some Olympian gods watch the process: from left to right, Athena (with her helmet), Hermes (with his winged petasus) and cloak, two Moirae (probably Lachesis and Clotho), Poseidon (with his trident), Artemis (with the moon crescent) and presumably Atropos. Roman sarcophagus, ca. 240 AD.
