English: Caryatid Room (François I Wing, Louvre Palace, Paris), a reception room for the kings of France. A Renaissance manifesto, it is the work of the Catholic architect Pierre Lescot and the Protestant sculptor Jean Goujon who drew inspiration from the Caryatids of the Erechtheion to create the musicians' gallery in 1550.

Manifeste Renaissance, elle est l'œuvre de l'architecte catholique Pierre Lescot et du sculpteur protestant Jean Goujon qui s'est inspiré des caryatides de l'Érechthéion pour réaliser la tribune des musiciens en 1550. Dans cette salle sont rassemblées depuis 1692 des copies romaines de la sculpture hellénistique : Artémis à la biche, dite Diane de Versailles, Hermaphrodite endormi dont le matelas de marbre est réalisé par Le Bernin, l'Écorcheur rustique.
