Summary
| Description |
English: Established in 1883 by James Solomon Russell as an Episcopal mission school for the black community of southside Virginia. Russell, a former slave, was trained at Hampton Institute and Bishop Payne Divinity School in Petersburg. The school closed in 2013 because of financial difficulties. |
