Summary

Description View of the AN/SPS-2 antenna aboard the U.S. Navy command ship USS Northampton (CLC-1). The antenna alone weighed 23.6 metric tons, the whole radar system weighed 44 metric tons.
Below the SPS-2 are AN/SPS-6 and AN/SPS-10. The Mark 37 gun director with Mark 25 radar is visible to the left.
