Description
English: U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Geny Ramirez, first female to finish and second to finish overall, poses for a photo along friends who came to support her during the 41st Marine Corps Marathon Forward in Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Oct. 30, 2016. The MCM Forward gives runners in forward-operating locations around the globe the opportunity to run in the “People’s Marathon” simultaneously with the actual marathon in Washington, D.C. Over 60 service members from Soto Cano Air Base and the American embassy in Honduras including Marines with SPMAGTF-SC, sailors and airmen participated in the MCM that consisted of 26.2 miles with a six hour time limit.
