Description
English: BBC lines test room 1959. The test equipment consists of signal generators, audio level and noise measuring sets and insulation testers. The line equipment consists of amplifiers and equalisers. The squarish units with two large black dials towards the top of the racks are test equalisers which are used to confirm the engineer's calculations from which a permanent unit is then built.
