Description

Plate no. 110 from Le Bon Genre, first published in 1817.

Original upload caption: Three women and a man playing an inverse ringtoss or "quoits" game during the second half of the 1810s. (This is said to be a fashion plate published 1815, but could possibly be from a few years later, judging by some of the fussy details on the clothes of the two women at right.)
