Railcoach at Squires Gate. The Blackpool 75th anniversary celebrations were dampened somewhat by the news that Blackpool's last three 'street' tram routes were going to be converted to bus operation as follows: Squires Gate via Lytham Road, end of 1960 season; Marton Circular, end of 1961 season; and North Station, end of 1962 season.
Here is English Electric railcoach No 204 at Squires Gate terminus on one of the last journeys there by tram.
