English: Queens Square is at the centre of Crawley and in many ways typifies the era of new towns established in a ring around London after the Second World War. The square underwent a major regeneration project in 2017 which included new planting, lighting, seating and paving, and removal of the bandstand. A new fountain was installed with jets which fire into the air on a cycle. The overall effect is quite pleasant, especially on a sunny day.
