Summary

Description
English: Puck magazine cover from February 4, 1891. Three Republicans (Morgan Gardner Bulkeley, governor of Connecticut at lower left, George Hoar of Massachusetts, lower right and William Chandler of New Hampshire at top) are accused of taking elections fraudulently they did not win. In the case of Bulkeley, the reference is to the disputed 1890 governor's race in Connecticut, which caused Bulkeley to hold over in office when the Democrats claimed their candidate had won.
