Summary

Description
English: Pteranodon is one of the most well-known pterosaurs, with about 1,200 fossil specimens known to science. It had a large toothless beak, and a crest on the back of its head. Sexual dimorphism is observed in Pteranodon, as males were larger overall, and had proportionately larger crests. The wingspan of a male Pteranodon could reach up to 6 m across.
