Summary

Description
English: Psittacosaurus sp (based on SMF R 4970) is a small basal ceratopsian, and the most species-rich dinosaur genus with 12 known species. It was herbivorous, and had a blunt skull with a short beak and small horns protruding from its cheeks. Psittacosaurus was likely quadrupedal as a juvenile, then switched to bipedal as it matured.
