This graph image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Praise versus Negative templates, English Wikipedia 2004-2011.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
Summary
DescriptionPraise versus Negative templates, English Wikipedia 2004-2011.png
English: A chart of the percent of edits made by others to the user talk pages of new, good faith editors within 30 days of their first edit. This is a random sample of several hundred such edits per year. Praise is anything with an explicitly positive affirmation, from a paragraph of thanks to a barnstar template. Negative templates are anything from warnings to deletion notices. Note that this count excludes warnings etc. given to vandals, spammers, and users banned as sockpuppets.
