Summary

Description
English: An original portrait of Sister Wendy Mary Beckett, an art historian and Sister of the congregation of Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. She taught at university and at a South African school for girls, before obtaining Papal permission to leave her congregation and become a consecrated virgin and hermit. She was the narrator and presenter for a number of British TV documentaries on art history.
