DescriptionPortland Streetcar car 021 at west end of Broadway Bridge.jpg
Car 021 of the Portland Streetcar system, built in 2012 by United Streetcar, is leaving the Broadway Bridge (in Portland, Oregon), westbound on the CL Line, which opened in 2012. The Broadway Bridge is a bascule-type drawbridge that was completed in 1913 and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It has carried streetcars from 1913 to 1940 and again since 2012. Car 021 (or 21), a United Streetcar model 100, was the first "production-series" modern streetcar built in the United States since 1952; it was preceded by a prototype modern car, No. 015 (model 10T3), built by United Streetcar in 2009. Car 021 entered service on 11 June 2013.
