English: Original Caption: Chalk Bluff at Whitecliffs Landing.
A later publication, Bulletin 1 of the Arkansas Geological Survey (1929), has the same photograph (Plate XIV A) but with a different caption:
The Annona ("White Cliffs") Chalk at White Cliffs, on Little River, Sevier County, Showing the contact between the Annona chalk and the underlying Ozan formation at the base of the overhanging ledge near the middle of the cliff.
This area is now called White Cliffs Natural Area. The chalk (top) is now known as the Annona Chalk, and the underlying formation is the Ozan Formation.
