| Description |
English: A Fast freight passing through Peterborough on the ECML. View SE from Spital Bridge towards Peterborough North station and London, ex-Great Northern East Coast Main Line. The Class C freight, headed by A1 Pacific No. 60158 'Aberdonian', is overtaking a Down Empties for New England Yard (with O2 2-8-0 No. 63934) is held at the signal, while a Diesel multiple-unit runs into the station. The lines to the right were the separate ex-Midland lines to Manton, Melton Mowbray, Leicester etc. Beyond the North Station can be discerned the large Crescent Bridge south of the station. |
