Description
English: This monument to American astronomer Percival Lowell was erected on 1 September 1981 in Anamizu Town, Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Lowell visited Noto in 1889, and documented his trip from Tokyo in his 1891 book Noto, An Unexplored Corner of Japan.
