English: This receipt was pasted on a large bundle of books that were shipped by Mezhdunarodnaya Kniga, Moscow, USSR, to "People's Publishing House (PPH)" Godown in Haryana India, via Sea-Post. "Moskva T.P." is written on top most part of it in English. On top Right edge a registered post mark number is written "R No. 852 /M Moscou". It contains an address "People's Publishing House / P / Ltd., "Central Godown,, 84, D.L.E., Industrial Estate 1, Amar Nagar, P.O. Faridabad - 121003, Haryana, India, Open General License, Import Code No". Then it contains a line of text in Russian "Порт Назначения - БОМБЕЙ" which means "Port of Destination - Bombay".
The bottom part of the receipt contains the sender's "Mezhdunarodnaya Kniga's" address information etc in Russian "Всесоюзное Объединение, «МЕЖДУНАРОДНАЯ КНИГА», Москва, Г - 200" which means "All Union Association, International Book, Moscow G - 200". This packet used to contain large amount of Soviet Russian Books. I intentionally, digitally blurred the License Number and Import Code to protect the privacy of the publisher. |
