English: The Palace Theater Waterbury, Connecticut. The theater started out as a movie/vaudeville house by theatre magnate Sylvester Z. Poli in 1922. It was
designed by the architect Thomas W. Lamb in a Second Renaissance Revival style. Over the years, the theater presented everything from silent films, to Big Band music, to rock concerts in the 1970s. Notable rock acts that performed at the theater include Alice Cooper, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, and Queen.
