Description
English: Oxenton Church Oxenton church is dedicated to St John the Baptist and is a good example of a medieval church having been little changed, in the words of Pevsner, it underwent 'tactful' preservation in 1905. Until the Dissolution in the sixteenth century the church was in the possession of nearby Tewlesbury Abbey.
