Description
English: Ancient Roman marble statuette from the second century AD. It shows an amalgamation of the gods Dionysus (the Greek god of wine), Osiris (the Egyptian god of the Underworld and fertility) and Aeon (the Greek god of eternity) depicted as Chronocrator, or Lord of Time. Acropolis Museum inv. no 282, Athens Greece.
