| Description |
Thunderstorms during the North American Monsoon as seen from El Cajon, California. Thunderstorms during the monsoon rarely push beyond the Peninsular Ranges to the clear skies of the coastal strip. Note:This is a replacement for Image for North American Monsoon 20060701.jpg, which was shown in the North_American_Monsoon section of the Monsoon article. I noted that I wanted to take a better picture. It took two years but here it is. I still might do better.
