Description
English: William Geissler's Flotsam and Jetsam (ca 1945). Watercolour, pen and ink. In the foreground a jumble of tree branches, logs and rusting iron, in the distance a passing ship. The Bass Rock that can just be distinguished on the horizon to the right of the picture sets the site on the East Lothian coast of the Firth of Forth in Scotland, probably near Dirleton.
