Description
English: One of the highlights in the mountain village Ella is the 30-meter high Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The construction of the bridge is generally attributed to a local Ceylonese builder, P. K. Appuhami, in consultation with British engineers. Height‎: ‎80 ft (24.38m) Total length‎: ‎300 ft (91.44m)
