Summary

Description
English: Size comparison of UY Scuti to Earth's Orbit and the Sun. UY Scuti used to be the largest known star at 1708 times the size of the Sun, but newer measurements found it to be smaller, at 909 solar units. The center of the star contains its blackbody color. The Sun is barely visible, just two pixels in the image. Made with Canva and Photo Editor.
